The following Kashrus Alert was released by cRc (Chicago): Please be aware that some of the new Tums® Naturals contain carmine (a non-kosher red pigment from crushed cochineal insects) and is not kosher. The kosher consumer should be careful to check each label to see if there is a kosher symbol on the label.
Yummy® Cheese Tray
Anyone who purchased the Yummy® Cheese Tray (Assorted Variety Tray 16oz) should not use it for Pesach. The company has sent notification that the batch they had shipped was not Kosher for Pesach. Customers can return the product for a full refund or put it away for use after Pesach. ESKD apologizes for the inconvenience.
